Joe Glynn serves as the Vice President of Business Development. In this role he builds and manages strategic relationships with CDMA, UMTS and LTE carriers, and OEM/ODM’s around the world, with the primary goal of creating demand for Qualcomm products and services.
In 2007 Joe created the CDMA Summit, which now has evolved into the 4G/5G Summit. (Link) With sights set on expanding the 4G/5G ecosystem, the summit continually proves to be an ideal venue for worldwide operators, device manufacturers, and software and component technology companies to showcase their products and services while also gaining exposure to key Qualcomm executives. Taking place annually in Hong Kong, this 3 day premier event engages attendees in pointed breakout sessions and panels addressing the most anticipated new technologies and trends. The highlight of the meeting is unparalleled “matchmaking” where attendees are connected in over 500 meetings with 100 carriers representing over 3.3 billion subscribers. As the organizer and master of ceremonies, Joe facilitates these connections and influences the relationships that result in significant revenue and profit for both Qualcomm and participating companies.
Joe is a graduate of Texas Christian University where he received a BBA in Marketing and was a student-athlete on the highly competitive Division 1 men’s soccer team.
